📖Biography

Humphry Repton succeeded Capability Brown as England's most famous landscape gardener. Known as the 'last of the great English landscape gardeners', he was also an accomplished writer and published several influential books on landscape design. He pioneered the use of 'Red Books' - illustrated proposals showing 'before and after' views of proposed garden designs.
